Nathan Russell is a seasoned filmmaker with nearly two decades of experience spanning digital, broadcast, feature films, and new media production. As a Founding Partner at HAMMOND HILL MEDIA, he spearheads a diverse portfolio of original and commercial projects, notably with shows like "GZERO World with Ian Bremmer" (PBS), "The Guru Inside You" (Topic), "This Week at the Comedy Cellar" (Comedy Central), and "Gotham Comedy Live" (Next VR/Oculus).
Previously Nathan led UCB Comedy, the digital and TV production division of the UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE. In this role, he managed development, creative, and production teams from concept inception to final execution. This included serving as an Executive Producer, Director, and Producer for 400+ digital sketches and 60+ livestream comedy shows, and acting as Showrunner for original series "The Adventures of Young Hillary" (Above Average), "UCB-IRL" (Fusion), and the ten-episode sketch variety series, "UCB Innovation Inc" (Nerdist/Legendary Digital Networks).
